Subject: Solid fall 94 show.

This is best sounding of the audience sources. This one sounds quite good actually. Yes, those NYC crowds are chatty, oh well. This concert is in the top half of fall 94 show's. One thing to note, "Birdsong" also includes "samson" That's why it's 25 minutes long. The track labeled 'Samson' is still 'samson', so skip it. I made cd one end with so many roads after Birdsong(which includes Samson). Starting with 'Saint' on cd two will get you through sugar mags. as far as Brokedown goes, skip it, so this all fits on two cd's.

I like this show, great Stranger opener, love the long Terrapin as well.
So Many Roads is nice, so is Stella.
I got a recording from The One who recorded it so I am blessed to have met him, thanks you know who you are :)
Its funny to hear what people are saying during some songs, great stuff.
God Bless

Nice sound, thanks.
2 cents: I remember this show. Stella Blue with Jer going off at the end transcending with the boys sounding like an electronic orchestra reaching deep into the depths and rising into pure white blue stellar light then bringing it down with that cool hawaiian? sound Jer started doing in the late nineties which turns into one of the most perfect lead-ins into> Sugar Mags that builds into a rocking crescendo spiraling like an out of control skeletal carousel (ladies and gentlemen, all aboard!) whirling into space just before the break before the SSDD ending...
Ah, the memories. Not an incredible show in whole, but a very good one with the SB>SM being spectacular.

this is pretty damn good audience copy. considering the lineage (if accurate), there appears to be no external preamp. the 4011's are incredible mics. very nice and crisp sound.

Pretty cool to hear Bobby playing acoustic on El Paso. Sound Quality isn't great on this recording. You can definitely hear the crowd. People asking for lighters, talking about the show the night before, singing along. Hey, it's basically like sitting the audience but if you are looking to hear only the music rather then what was going on around the guy who recorded this show, then this is not for you.
